President Stevandic attended the commemoration for the heroes of the homeland in Stricici

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic attended today in Stricici near Banja Luka the commemoration and wreath laying to the heroes of the patriotic war in the framework of the manifestation 58th Kocicev zbor.

On behalf of the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik and on behalf of the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Zeljka Cvijanovic, Minister of Finance in the BiH Council of Ministers Srdjan Amidzic laid the wreath.  

The wreaths were also laid by the Vice President of the National Assembly Anja Ljubojevic, as well as MPs in the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, the mayor of Banja Luka Drasko Stanivukovic, and the president of the city Assembly Ljubo Ninkovic.

The wreaths were also laid by the representatives of the organizations from the patriotic war, representatives of the SUBNOR Banja Luka, and others.

Previously the liturgy was served and the commemoration for Petar Kocic and his father Gerasim in the Church of Saint Mary in Stricici.

Before the beginning of the cultural part of the manifestation, during the press conference called Serbian people to unity and added that “Petar Kocic, living today, would be the president of the parliament or the republic, would not admit OHR and would sign all that actual authorities in Srpska are signing in order to preserve its property.

“Our people are united, they have unity, this is not understood by all political representatives, but people are unique,” said Stevandic.
