Stevandić: The formation of the Assembly of the Serbian People in BiH is one of the most important dates in the last 200 years

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandić said that the formation of the Assembly of the Serbian People in BiH is one of the most important dates in the last 200 years and stressed that since then begins the life of the Serbian people in freedom.

“When we look at dates in the last 200 years we can without exaggeration and without any doubt say that one of the most important is the decision on the formation of the Assembly, that is, the state of the Serbian people in BiH, and the decision equal to the first and Second Serbian uprising”, stated President Stevandic for Srna News Agency, on the occasion of 32 years from the formation of the Assembly of Serbian people in BiH.

He stressed that from then begins the life of Serbian people in freedom, which is invaluable and can not be changed for anything else- neither for a protectorate nor for false promises nor for an uncertain future.

“We fought for freedom in three years of war and there is no other date that can be compared to that," said Stevandić.
