President Stevandic talked with the representatives of the Republic Organisation of the Families of Imprisoned and Killed Fighters and Missing Civilians

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic talked today in Banja Luka with the representatives of the Republic Organisation of the families of imprisoned and killed fighters and missing civilians on actual themes when the search for missing persons of Serbian nationality is in question and the procession of the war crimes committed against Serbs.

The president of the Republic Organisation Isidora Graorac introduced President Stevandic with problems they face while searching for missing fighters from the Republic of Srpska. She also stressed that apart from having presented much evidence the families of the victims are still waiting for justice. She said that there are dual standards in joint institutions when the processing and judgments of war crimes against Serbs.

President Stevandic said that the work of the Republic organization is very important for the whole Republic of Srpska because it works on the truth disclosure of the suffering of Serbian people in the past Defensive-patriotic war and added that there is a need for further institutional help from the Republic of Srpska for this organization, given that the Institute for missing person BiH treats Serbian victims as second class citizens.

The meeting also discussed finding a solution that would improve the position of family members of captured and dead fighters and missing civilians, primarily through the employment of children of dead fighters and missing civilians.
