President Stevandic talked with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic talked with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka Oğuz Kiliç on the actual political situation in the region and on improving economic and political cooperation of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Republic of Turkey.

During the meeting, the good cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Turkey was highlighted, and the focus of the conversation was directed towards keeping the peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the basic starting point of the politics of the Republic of Srpska and the foreign policy of the Republic of Turkey.  

President Stevandić informed the Consul about the political situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and thanked him because the Republic of Turkey insists on consistently implementing the Dayton Peace Agreement. He assessed that the Republic of Turkey conducts a principled policy towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, respecting its specificities, representing the basis for peace and stability.
