President Stevandic attended the central event celebrating the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag

The President of the National Assembly Dr Nenad Stevandic attended today in Nis the central event celebrating the Day of the Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag.

The event in Nis was also attended by the President of the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vucic. Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Zeljka Cvijanovic, prime minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Viskovic, and minister in the two countries' governments.

Addressing the media, President Stevandic said that the Sun never goes down in the Serbian cultural unity and community.

The crown of our unity is the presence of the Republic of Srpska which has been formed as the pledge of the great Serbian unity. The Republic of Srpska is the greatest Serbian victory, and it is a guarantee that our unity serves,” said Stevandic.

The holiday Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag has been commemorated based on the decision of the two Governments, the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, and it is on the day when the Serbian army broke through the Thessaloniki front in 1918 and theoretically meant the liberation of the Kingdom of Serbia and the preface of the end of the World War I.
