President Stevandić congratulates March 8th, International Women's Day
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandić, congratulated all women March 8th-the International Women's Day, with the wish for this holiday to bring them happiness, family, and professional success.
“All women, mothers, and coworkers, I wish happy March 8th, stated President Stevandić, stressing that women are the pillar of the family and society.
The President of the National Assembly highlighted that women are the embodiment of courageousness, strength, and sacrifice.
“We should work on its empowerment because with strong women the Republic of Srpska is stronger, more stable, and prosperous. Without successful women there is no economic advancement, which is very important for every society and country, highlighted Stevandić.
He emphasized that the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska will continue its legislative framework to advance the position of women in all spheres of public and private life.
“We want more women in leading positions together with the systematic affirmation and continuous use of women's rights and firm struggle against violence over them”, said Stevandić.
President Stevandić expressed gratefulness to all women who, as he said, made a great contribution to building the Republic of Srpska and to the development of a more tolerant and better society.
“Not only for this holiday but every day, we should give recognition and respect to all women for their role in society. Dear ladies, I wish you a happy holiday. I wish you peace, health, and happiness”, emphasized president Stevandić.
