The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska one of the most effective legislative institution by the number of sessions, adopted laws and thematic units

By the number of adopted laws and thematic units The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska was one of the most effective legislative institutions in BiH in 2016.

Last year seven regular and five special sessions were held and the Parliament convened a total of 53 working days.
In the legislative area, in 2016, a total of 74 acts were adopted from the Program of work and outside it, which is 77 per cent.

In the form of a proposal a total of 58 laws / legal entities were adopted and 16 in a draft form.

The number of acts adopted by the planned program of work is 52 (39 in the form of a proposal and 13 in a draft form), while by the planned Program of work another 22 laws were adopted, 19 in the form of a proposal, and three in draft form.

In 2016, 65 thematic sections were adopted in the form of proposals, of which 44 are planned by the Program of work.
