Čubrilović: Strengthening domestic production of milk and food

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović said today in Bileća that institutions, but also society as a whole, must encourage domestic production and that entrepreneurs as Nenad Vukoje, the owner of the dairy "Pađeni",  should be supported . After visiting the drive of the dairies, Čubrilović expressed satisfaction that in the Republic of Srpska there are such producers.

"This dairy has subcontractors across the country, equipped with the most modern technological standards and is ready to place its high-quality products on the most demanding European markets," said Čubrilović.

He added that it is commendable that a small municipality has a manufacturer that employs hundreds of workers who receive regular salaries, as well as expanding its capacity and increasing the number of sub-contractors, the benefits of which have not only the municipality, but also the entire Republic of Srpska .

"We have to be based on local production and healthy food, which is why it is very important that in the Republic of Srpska we have as many of these manufacturers," said Čubrilović.

Vukoje said that last year was very successful and that the dairy production recorded an increase of about 20 percent.

"Last year the average monthly production was about one million liters of milk, and this year we plan to have about 1.2 million liters” said Vukoje and announced that already at the beginning of the year it will be invested about 1.5 million in new technology, and that the production facility will be expanded to about 800 square meters.

He said that his dairy products are currently sold on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina and part in Montenegro, and that the plan is around the middle of this year, that some products begin to be exported to the EU, noting that dairy has forty products - traditional, fermented program, as well as semi-hard and soft cheeses.
