President Stevandić received participants of the 13th class of the Higher Security and Defence Studies from the Republic of Serbia

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandić, received today the participants of the 13th Class of the Higher Security and Defence Studies of the Republic of Serbia, whom he introduced with the jurisdictions and the work of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, as well as with the actual political situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was also attended by the Consul General of Serbia in Banja Luka, Miloš Vujić.

Stevandić noted at the meeting that the mutual priority of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia is keeping peace and stability in the entire region.

The head of the Higher Security and Defense Studies, Colonel Vangel Milakovski, thanked President Stevandić for his hospitality and emphasized that it is only natural that the first visit of the 13th class of the Higher Security and Defense Studies of the Republic of Serbia should be to the Republic of Srpska. He provided full support for the work of the National Assembly. He added that cooperation with the institutions of Srpska provides the opportunity for participants to gain knowledge that will be of great importance to them in their future professional careers.

Higher security and defense studies are an organizational unit within the School of National Defense, where once a year the highest level of training is realized for officers and civil servants of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, as well as students from foreign countries, including the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
