    Council of National Minorities of The Republic of Srpska

    The National Assembly establishes the Council of National Minorities of The Republic of Srpska as a special advisory body composed of members of national minorities. The Council of National Minorities has up to 17 members.

    The National Assembly elects the president, deputy president, and members of the Council of National Minorities of The Republic of Srpska from among the candidates proposed by the Alliance of National Minorities of The Republic of Srpska.

    The Council of National Minorities of The Republic of Srpska gives opinions and proposals to the National Assembly on all issues concerning the rights, status, and interests of national minorities in The Republic of Srpska.

    The Council of National Minorities convenes twice a year, as well as when there is a need to consider an act that is in the procedure of the National Assembly and concerns the rights and status of national minorities.
