President Stevandić met with the Ambassador of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, François Delmas, to discuss the current political situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, President Stevandić emphasized several key points:

He stated that the Republic of Srpska does not create crises or conflicts, but rather consistently insists on dialogue and the preservation of an institutional balance that does not disadvantage the entity.

He stressed that the Republic of Srpska must be engaged through its official representatives rather than being treated as an "object" of discussion.

He noted that the Republic of Srpska responsibly protects its constitutional position in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that all institutional activities are carried out in alignment with the constitutions of both the entity and the state.

President Stevandić sent a clear message that the Republic of Srpska will not relinquish its constitutional authorities, including its property, and clarified that it has no interest in imposing political decisions on other constituent peoples.

He warned that the interference of international actors in internal political issues—specifically taking sides within BiH—is extremely harmful and directly undermines stability.

Regarding the economy, President Stevandić pointed out that while the Republic of Srpska possesses significant investment potential, it frequently faces discrimination through political blockades and blackmail. He stated these are direct consequences of external actors taking sides, which negatively impacts the entity's economic growth.
