Procedural issue, the National Assembly will consider the Report again

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedljko Čubrilović stated today that the Council for Protection of vital national interests of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Srpska pointed on the issues of procedural nature for which the Report on the ascertainment of the Referendum results will be sent again to the Council of Peoples.

"After that we will wait for a new decision of the Constitutional Court, if the issue of vital national interest is raised again, we will wait for the opinion of the Council of Peoples and the decision of the Constitutional Court, and then put an end to this process by publishing it in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska", said Čubrilović. He said that at this occassion no one did anything wrong, but that the only mistake was that the act was simultaneously sent to the Council of Peoples and on publication to the "Official Gazette”.

National Assembly Secretary General Marko Aćić said that there was a procedural problem and that nothing spectacular will happen.
He stated that the procedure will be repeated, and the National Assembly will at one of the next regular session re-adopt the same Report and pass it firstly to the Council of  Peoples on consideration.
"This is not the violation of the right on vital national interest, but only of the right to be the first to have it discussed and read," said Aćić.
