President Stevandić’s Christmas Greetings

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, extended his congratulations for the most joyous holiday—the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, Christmas—to His Holiness the Archbishop of Peć, Metropolitan of Belgrade-Karlovac, and Serbian Patriarch Mr. Porfirije, as well as to the metropolitans, bishops, clergy, monastics, and the entire Serbian Orthodox people, and all other Orthodox believers who celebrate according to the Julian calendar.

"On the occasion of the upcoming holiday of the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ - Christmas, on behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and my own, I send my heartfelt congratulations and wish you to spend this festive time in good health, happiness, and contentment," Stevandić stated in his message.

The President of the National Assembly emphasized that Christmas invigorates us, gives us strength and meaning, and strengthens us in the fundamental and enduring values of peace, harmony, togetherness, mutual respect, and brotherly love.

"In the firm faith that the Christ Child will, during these festive days, pour out His blessing upon the Republic of Srpska, as well as upon our Church and people, I greet you with the traditional greeting: PEACE OF GOD, CHRIST IS BORN!" the message from the President of the National Assembly concludes.
