President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović received last night at the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska prestigious award "Captain Miša Anastatijević" for the development of parliamentarianism and strengthening of democracy in the Republic of Srpska.
In the exposition of the award awarded by the Chamber of Commerce, Universities of Banja Luka and East Sarajevo and Media Invent from Novi Sad stood that the dedication and undeniable impact that he has on the development of parliamentarism and democracy grants the current President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska his own "Way to the Top" .
"A politician who communicates with all political options, the President of Parliament whose doors are open to all representatives of the public and political life, Nedeljko Čubrilović is the man who placed the role of President of the National Assembly above party and undoubtedly strengthened the democratic capacity of the Republic of Srpska" says the award citation.
President Čubrilović said that it is an honor and pleasure to take the prestigious award named after the great Srpska benefactor and founder Captain Miša Anastasijević.
"Even greater honor and pleasure is if you get this award for strengthening of democracy in your own country. Of course, I realized this recognition as an acknowledgment to the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, which arrived for the strengthening of parliamentarism in the year when we celebrate 25th anniversary of the establishment and work of the National Assembly", he said and congratulated to all awarded, which were 24 in various categories.
