President Stevandić congratulated the citizens of Srpska on Victory Day over fascism
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandić, extended congratulations to the citizens of the Republic of Srpska, on the occasion of 9th May, the Day of the Victory against fascism and the Day of Europe, and noted that Serbian people gave big sacrifice in this fight and showed that it is always on the side of the justice, freedom, and democracy.
“During the fight against fascism about a million of our compatriots lost their lives and today we commemorate all of them. Special commemoration we give to innocent people who died in the Nazi concentration camps, but also the thousands killed and thrown into pits, just because they were Serbs”, said the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
President Stevandić stressed that the Republic of Srpska and Serbian people are proud today because they are still decisively on the antifascist side, following the path of their brave and honoured ancestors.
