The President of the National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović congratulated all citizens of the Republic of Srpska New Year 2020, wishing them health, joy and well-being.

He said that the year behind us was full of challenges, both politically and economically, and hoped that New 2020 would be a year that would bring more important projects, which would be reflected in a better standard of citizens, which would also be reflected in higher salaries, pensions and other benefits.

"In the past year, despite all the temptations, we have been able to do a lot. We were able to reduce unemployment, make kilometers of new roads, start construction of new ones ... The government has taken good measures that will continue to be implemented this year. We are facing a difficult job of raising the economy, increasing domestic and foreign investment, valuing work and knowledge. For all this we need reforms both in economy and in education and in finance. We started some of them through enacting reform laws and we sincerely expect them to deliver a significant result in building a just and democratic society, "Cubrilovic wrote in a New Year's greetings card.
He stressed that the Republic of Srpska can and must do much better.

“Our people have the knowledge and the hard work and courage to make this society a better place to live, they just need to give them a chance and support quality. The basis for the development of every society and state is a quality and qualified individual in a responsible position,” he wrote.

Cubrilovic said that the year ahead should be a year in which we will do everything together to make the Republic of Srpska successful.
"I hope it will bring us more responsibility, but also harmony and unity when it comes to the essential moves necessary for the progress of all of us. In that sake: Happy and prosperous 2020,” the President of the National Assembly said.
