President Čubrilović: Army defended the people and saved the Republic of Srpska

The President of National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska congratulated, in the name of the National Assembly and on his own, the Day of the Army of the Republic of Srpska and the Third Regiment (Republic of Srpska) of the Armed Forces of BiH, to brigadier Milan Radojčić, officers, deputy officers and soldiers which cultivate the tradition of the Army of the Republic of Srpska.

“Having in mind the historical role that the Army of the Republic of Srpska had in defending the liberty and the right to exist of the Serbian people, who were seriously endangered in the previous war, on this occasion we have to honor the brave Serbian officers and soldiers who are the most responsible for defending and preserving the Republic of Srpska, says President's  Čubrilović's congratulation.

Under the conditions of general endangerment of security and crucial rights of Serbian people in then BiH, the decision enacted by the National Assembly on May 12, 1993, was of historical importance, constitutional and saving, because our army decisively defended the people and enabled a dissent life for them in freedom, in the Republic of Srpska and dayton  BiH, highlighted President Čubrilović.

He also pointed out that the members of the Third Regiment (Republic of Srpska) of the Armed forces of BiH have the right and obligation to cultivate the tradition of brave Serbian army and to be the guarantor of peace and stability of the whole country.
