Čubrilović at a Celebration of School's Patron Saint at the Technical School "Mihajlo Pupin" in Bijeljina: Preserve the Heritage of St. Sava

Speaking at the celebration of St. Sava's at the Mihajlo Pupin Technical School in Bijeljina, President of the National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović today stressed the importance of preserving everything that the first Serbian archbishop, enlightener and founder of education and literacy left to the Serbs.

Čubrilovic pointed out that the name and work of St. Sava has been celebrated for 170 years, and we celebrate it from the 1920s.

"It is a great pleasure to be here today and to have the opportunity to celebrate our enlightener's day with our students, teachers and parents," Čubrilović told reporters.

He emphasized that it was necessary to insist on everything that the Saint Sava did as an enlightener, saint and statesman.

“It is important that we teach children these days about the works of Saint Sava. This school bears the name of a great scientist and the results of its students are already among the best in Republic of  Srpska, "said Čubrilović, and wished the students and professors to continue along that path.

According to him, they will prove the stability of the Republic of Srpska, which means survival in this region.

Čubrilović wished the students and professors to celebrate Saint Sava for a long time and to take the most valuable and noble values from his heritage..

The students of Mihajlo Pupin Technical School organized a rich spiritual and cultural program, and traditionally the breaking of the Slavic cake was done.
