A public hearing on the sale of shares of mines iron ore "Ljubija" was held

The Committee for Economy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska in the National Assembly organized a public hearing in connection with the Proposed Decision on approval to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Srpska on the sale of the company "Israel investment group" 64.9 percent of the shares of stock of the joint stock company mines iron ore "Ljubija ".

The public hearing, which was chaired by President of the Committee for Economy Dušan Berić and Deputy Chairman Radovan Višković was attend by members of the Committee, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice of the Republic of Srpska Anton Kasipović, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Petar Djokić, Minister of Finance Zoran Tegeltija, representatives of both bidders, Evgenij Zotov, director of "Israel investment group" and Mladen Jelača, General Manager of "Arcelor Mittal Prijedor", as well as representatives of "Arcelor Mittal" from London and Zenica.

The hearing was attended by the Vice President of the National Assembly Zeljko Stojičić, a number of MPs, the mayor of Prijedor Milenko Đaković, director of iron ore mines, "Ljubija" Božo Grbić, president of the Union "Arcelor Mittal" Milanko Stojnić, president of the Confederation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Srpska Obrad Belenzada, representatives of the OSCE, small shareholders and other participants.

A public hearing was held in accordance with the provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
