President of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska handed the first volume of the Encyclopedia to the President of the National Assembly

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović talked today with the President of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, academician Rajko Kuzmanović, who on this ocassion handed to him the first volume of the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska.

President Čubrilović expressed his gratitude for dedicated and professional work during the preparations and the publishing of the first volume of the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska, which has general national interest.

 “The Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska is one of the most important projects of special interest for the Republic of Srpska and its citizens, which will stay as a permanent document and an unavoidable source for all encyclopedia books, scientific and professional works on the theme related to the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina”-told President Čubrilović by expressing his gratitude to the Editorial board, Redaction, collaborators and to all who contributed to the preparation and publishing  of the first volume.  

"Our contemporaries are not fully aware of the value and work involved in the preparation of the Encyclopedia of Republic of Srpska, which is a document of first-class national importance whose future will be more appreciated by future generations, researchers and scientific workers," said President Čubrilović.

Academician Kuzmanović pointed out that the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, as the holder of the Encyclopedia, together with the expert associates, made enormous efforts to prepare the first one in accordance with the highest standards of processing concepts, guidelines and relevant encyclopaedic data.

President Čubrilović said that the National Assembly, which ten years ago passed the Law on the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska, in accordance with its possibilities, would provide unselfish help in the preparation and printing of the second volume of the Encyclopedia.
