President Čubrilović talked with representatives of the authorities in Nizhny Novgorod on the construction of the temple in Banja Luka
President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović received today representatives of the Russian authorities in Nizhny Novgorod among whom was the Bishop of Gorodetsky Augustine with whom he talked on the possibilities of building an Orthodox Russian-Serbian church in Banja Luka.
President Čubrilović expressed support for raising the Russian-Serbian church in Banja Luka, which together with the Russian Cultural Centre, will contribute to improving relations between the two nations.
"I hope that we will, with the blessing of the Serbian Orthodox Church and in cooperation with our friends from Russia and Bishop Augustine, as soon as possible set the headstone for the construction of this temple," said Čubrilović.
Bishop Augustine said that the construction of the temple will contribute to the strengthening of Slovenian, Christian and Orthodox ties of Serbian and Russian people.
