President Čubrilović at the enthronement of newelected Mitropolitan Dabrobosanski Hrizostom

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović attended, in the Holy Congregation Church in Sarajevo, the solemn enthronement of His Eminence Mitropolitan Dabrobosanski Hrizostom.

This solemn ceremony was preceded by the Holy Archery liturgy, served by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, with the service of the archbishops and clergy of SPC.

Metropolitan Dabrobosanski Hrizostom said that the main goal of his archipastoral work would be the constant care for the Mitropolitan Dabrobosanska and her honorable clergy, monasticism, for all temples, monasteries and school institutions, for the trusted people, expelled and returnees, as well as all those who are in need and misery.

The President of the National Assembly of Republic of Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, believes that the introduction into the throne of His Eminence Metropolitan Dabrobosanski Hrizostom represents a new beginning, but also a guideline for all people of good will, how and in which way to build communion in Sarajevo and BiH.

The Holy Archbishop's Liturgy was attended by a number of believers, along with the member of the Presidency of BiH from the Serbian people, Mladen Ivanić, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Srpska, Neđo Trninić, Director of the Republican Secreatariat for Religions Dragan Davidović, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović, Minister of Justice of Serbia Nela Kuburović.

The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Russia to BiH Petar Ivancov, Ambassador of Serbia to BiH Stanimir Vukićević, High Representative in BiH Valentin Incko, Archbishop Vrhbosanski Cardinal Vinko Puljić, representatives of the Islamic Community of BiH, the Jewish Community of BiH and representatives of the international community, and mayors of municipalities and mayor of Eastern Sarajevo and representatives of political and social life.
