Čubrilović: The UN Resolution is violated and the security of Serb people on Kosovo and Metohija is seriously threatened

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović expressed his concern because of the decision of Kosovo authorities to transform the Kosovo security forces to so called army of Kosovo, emphasizing that all international acts and UN Resolution are being violated and the security in south Serbian province is being threatened.

“We are highly disappointed by the fact that the world is ignoring the violation of the UN Resolution 1244 and the military-technical agreement from Kumanovo. This is obviously the violation of international law, conventions and agreements which guarantee the security of Serbian people on Kosovo and Metohija” said President Čubrilović.

He emphasised that he honestly believes that the Republic of Serbia will succeed in preserving its constitutional order, in protecting all its citizens on Kosovo I Metohija and in preventing all attempts of endangering peace.

“The people in the Republic of Srpska received this information with disappointment and look with skepticism how Europe and other international actors keep silent on Priština actions. Serb representatives in BiH authorities are being rigorously sanctioned for even smaller violations and sometimes for invented one.  We look on further developments with great attention and concern” concluded Čubrilović.
