Čubrilović and Cormack on the reform path towards EU and current issues

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović today at a working lunch in Banja Luka talked with HE US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack on the economic and political situation in BiH and further reform path towards the European Union.

Ambassador Cormack stressed that the United States stand firmly with BiH and its institutions on the path of European integration and the implementation of reforms that will bring improvement of living standard of all citizens.

She stressed the importance of the highest legislative body of the Republic of Srpska- of the National Assembly on this road, and on the road for preservation and development of democracy.

President Čubrilović  underlined the necessity of communication and partnership, especially emphasizing that the priority for politicians and foreign diplomats, who whish well for BiH, should be bringing the healthy investment and reducing unemployment.

He expressed hope that US investitors in the coming time will recognize their interest through investments in the economy of the Republic of Srpska.

They also discussed the current political issues in the RS and BiH and the attitudes of DNS, whose Čubrilović is vice president.
